Controlling the view The View Controller works with site design views in the same way it works with navigation and links views. It has controls for orientation, display of peripheral panes, the way items are shown and labeled, their color and frame size. For information, see Using the View Controller.
The Design View Controller also has controls for grid spacing and collision avoidance. When the invisible grid is selected, items in the design snap to it. When collision avoidance is selected and you move or insert an item, stationary items move out of its way. You can resize the grid and the area of avoidance. To change settings for the invisible grid or for collision avoidance: 1 Display the Design tab of the View Controller. 2 Select or deselect Horizontal and Vertical for Grid or for Collision Avoidance. 3 If you selected the grid or collision avoidance (and if necessary), change the settings in the Horizontal or Vertical text boxes. Larger numbers increase the size of the grid or the size of the avoidance area.
